Cameron Todd Willingham: Joe Gamso has a message for anyone who thinks that they will soon be granting a posthumous pardon to Cameron Todd Willingham; (Must, Must read, from a brilliant, tough, principled blogger. HL);

POST: "If you broke it, you should pay for it," by Joe Gamso, published on his superlative blog " Gamso for the defence: Commentary by an Ohio criminal defence lawyer,"  on April 5, 2014.

GIST: "Dog-bites-man news from the Times:  They won't be pardoning Cameron Todd Willingham anytime soon.*  What?  You thought they would?  You thought that Texas would admit that his conviction, death sentence, and execution for a crime that did not occur was a horrible - even if an understandable - mistake?  You thought Rick Perry's parole board would acknowledge that he wasn't a minister of justice when he signed off on Willingham's killing while the evidence that there was no crime (and therefore, duh, no criminal) was right in front of him?  You thought they'd say that he was just a stone killer? And they were too?"
(And that's just the start! HL)

PUBLISHER'S NOTE:

Dear Reader. Keep your eye on the Charles Smith Blog. We are following this case.

I have added a search box for content in this blog which now encompasses several thousand posts. The search box is located  near the bottom of the screen just above the list of links. I am confident that this powerful search tool provided by "Blogger" will help our readers and myself get more out of the site.

The Toronto Star, my previous employer for more than twenty incredible years, has put considerable effort into exposing the harm caused by Dr. Charles Smith and his protectors - and into pushing for reform of Ontario's forensic pediatric pathology system. The Star has a "topic" section which focuses on recent stories related to Dr. Charles Smith. It can be found at:
