"The police Major Crime Investigation Branch is not investigating anyone else over the drowning death of Adelaide woman Anna-Jane Cheney, police have told the ABC. The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Adam Kimber announced on Friday that charges against Henry Keogh were being dropped due to the unavailability of a key witness to give evidence for a retrial. Mr Keogh was convicted in 1995 of his fiancee's murder in Adelaide's eastern suburbs and spent 21 years in jail until his release in December. Changes to legislation allowed Mr Keogh to re-argue his case, resulting in a landmark legal decision to overturn his conviction and hold a fresh trial.........The DPP said in a statement he reviewed the case after witness Dr Colin Mannock fell ill and believed "it was not appropriate to proceed without the witness giving evidence and being cross-examined".
