PUBLISHER'S NOTE: Countdown: Innocence Project 'Guilty Plea Problem' campaign begins at noon today: January 23, 2017; Access the countdown at the link below. This promises to be a very important project. The Innocense Project says"95% of felony convictions are obtained through guilty pleas. Innocent people are being forced to plead guilty. Let's fix this."  As I have  shown in the current series of posts on guilty pleas, there is clearly a guilty plea problem in the U.S.A.  and Canada   (and perhaps other countries) which all too often results in conviction of the innocent. Innocent people must never be forced to plead guilty. The Innocence Project says 'Let's fix it." I say to the Innocence Project 'show us  how.' Noon today!
