CASEY ANTHONY; "STUNNING REVELATION"; CASEY'S MOTHER SAYS SHE IS THE PERSON WHO SEARCHED FOR CHLORIFORM AND OTHER SUSPICIOUS TERMS ON FAMILY COMPUTER;
"She told defense attorney Jose Baez that she looked chloroform up when searching for information about chlorophyll.
Cindy Anthony said she was searching for information because of a scare regarding hand sanitizers.
Caylee's grandmother also said she looked up other terms involving trauma and injuries after her friend was in a car accident.
She also said the stain in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car was there when they purchased it.
These are all significant revelations because the prosecution has suggested strongly that Casey Anthony conducted these searches and Caylee's decomposing body made that stain."

MARK CALENDER NOW: IMPORTANT JOINT NPR, FRONTLINE, PROPUBLICA INVESTIGATION OF CHILD DEATH CASES INVOLVING ABUSE, ASSAULT AND "SHAKEN-BABY SYNDROME." ASKS IF DEATH INVESTIGATORS ARE BEING PROPERLY TRAINED FOR CHILD CASES; FIRST OF THREE SEGMENTS ON "THE CHILD CASES" AIRS ON JUNE 28 AT 9.00 PM:
When a child dies under suspicious circumstances, abuse is often suspected. That's what happened in the case of six-month-old Isis Vas, whose death was deemed "a clear-cut and classic" case of child abuse, sending a man named Ernie Lopez to prison for 60 years. But now a Texas judge has moved to overturn Lopez's conviction, and new questions are being asked about the quality of expert testimony in this and many other similar cases. In this joint investigation with ProPublica and NPR, FRONTLINE correspondent A.C. Thompson unearths more than 20 child death cases in which people were jailed on medical evidence -- involving abuse, assault and "shaken-baby syndrome" -- that was later found unreliable or flat-out wrong. Are death investigators being properly trained for child cases? The Child Cases is the first of three magazine segments airing June 28 at 9 p.m. (check local listings);

"In a stunning revelation, Cindy Anthony, the mother of accused child killer Casey Anthony, testified today that she is the person who searched for chloroform and other suspicious terms on her family computer," the Orlando Sentinel story by reporters Anthony Colarossi and Walter Pacheco published earlier today begins, under the heading, "Casey Anthony trial: Cindy Anthony searched for chloroform, injuries on family computer."
"She told defense attorney Jose Baez that she looked chloroform up when searching for information about chlorophyll," the story continues.
"Cindy Anthony said she was searching for information because of a scare regarding hand sanitizers.
Caylee's grandmother also said she looked up other terms involving trauma and injuries after her friend was in a car accident.
She also said the stain in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car was there when they purchased it.
These are all significant revelations because the prosecution has suggested strongly that Casey Anthony conducted these searches and Caylee's decomposing body made that stain.
Cindy Anthony said she conducted the computer searches during March 2008. She explained no overtime was allowed for supervisors and that is why her timecard at work showed she was working during the time of the computer searches.
She also searched for acetone and hydrogen peroxide, Cindy Anthony said.
Then prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick aggressively cross-examined Anthony about her startling revelation that she had done searches for chloroform during March 2008.
Burdick asked if she was even home during the days in question when job records show she was working.
"I went home early a couple of days," Cindy Anthony said. "I didn't look up how to make chloroform. I looked up chloroform."
She did not make searches for "household weapons" or "neck breaking" other searches thought to be done by her daughter Casey Anthony.
Cindy Anthony said she first learned of the review of the computer search history in September 2008 from the detectives working on the case.
She also said she has a better recollection of her actions in 2008 now that she is on a different medication.
She said the home computer was always left on and she often asked Casey to get on the computer for a few minutes when she would come home from work.
Cindy Anthony's testimony came as the defense team continued its attack on the forensic evidence presented by the prosecution.
FBI forensic expert
Earlier, defense attorney Jose Baez grilled FBI expert Stephen Shaw, a forensic hair and fiber expert, about some of the evidence and the science behind it."
