Lacey Spears: New York: Evidence confiscated from her old home was shown in her murder trial Tuesday. A Ramapo police detective testified that he searched for medicines, vitamins and literature pertaining to increased sodium levels at the Hungry Hollow Road home. He testified that he found opened and unopened containers of salt in Spears’ home. He also found feeding tubes and bags, with at least one that had a milky-like liquid in it. News 12 Westchester;

GIST: "Evidence confiscated from Lacey Spears' old home was shown in her murder trial Tuesday. Police seized 174 items from the former home of Spears as evidence. Prosecutors displayed some of the evidence Tuesday. Prosecutors say Spears deliberately put salt into her 5-year-old son Garnett Spears’ feeding tube, ultimately killing him. A Ramapo police detective testified that he searched for medicines, vitamins and literature pertaining to increased sodium levels at the Hungry Hollow Road home. He testified that he found opened and unopened containers of salt in Spears’ home. He also found feeding tubes and bags, with at least one that had a milky-like liquid in it. During cross-examination by the defense, the detective admitted Spears’ home was left unsupervised for 48 hours before police seized another feeding bag that the defense argues could have been tampered with."
