STORY: "Inquest to confirm a dingo did kill Azaria Chamberlain," published in the Australian on June 12, 2012.
GIST: "A Northern Territory coroner, Elizabeth Morris, said she would hand down her findings on June 12 in relation to the inquest, which was held in February this year.........Despite their exoneration a coronial inquest into the disappearance of Azaria in 1995 delivered an open verdict. But Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton, as she is now known after remarrying, and her ex-husband have continued to fight to have Azaria's death certificate changed from "unknown" to reflect that a dingo killed the baby. At the latest inquest Rex Wild, QC, who was counsel assisting the coroner, said he agreed a dingo was now the most likely cause of Azaria's death."
