STORY: Evidence moved at scene of Reeva Steenkamp shooting," by reporter Cyrus Engineer, published by the Daily Star, on March 18, 2014.
GIST: A Police photographer has admitted certain objects were moved at Oscar Pistorius' home after he shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Bennie Van Staden told the court he moved a gym bag in the athlete's bedroom but said he did not know who moved around objects including a TV remote, a fan and a pair of flip flops. Pictures of the room taken two days apart were shown to the court in Pretoria, with Pistorius' defence team claiming they showed a "great disturbance" in the scene. Mr Van Staden also suggested he may have moved a bathmat while taking photos of a handgun after pictures showed the weapon lying in different positions."
