"The 2008 Aarushi Talwar murder case
is still a mystery in spite of Rajesh and Nupur Talwar serving jail term
for allegedly killing their daughter. In a fresh twist, maternal
grandfather of Aarushi Talwar, BG Chitnis has made shocking claims
defending accused Rajesh Talwar and his wife Nupur Talwar for reportedly
killing their daughter. Speaking exclusively to NewsX, Chitnis in his first television interview
claimed, “There was no evidence against Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, and we
are very angry with the way the establishment has treated us. I am
deeply concerned about Rajesh and Nupur’s Talwar’s health.” Former Group Captain and Retired VSM, Chitnis also emphasised that one
should ‘hear the firsthand account of what happened on the first morning
when Aarushi Talwar was found murdered.’ “The Uttar Pradesh Police was clueless and the house was a mela.
Krishna, compounder of the Talwars was given a chance to concoct
stories,” Chitnis added. The 80-year-old adorned war veteran of the Indian Air Force also raised
stern questions on the UP Police and the CBI responsible for
investigating the case. “How come the UP Police did not discover the
putrefying body of Hemraj? It was a total botched up investigation where
the cops solved the murder without any evidence,” Aarushi’s grandfather
said, adding, “Initially CBI found Rajesh Talwar innocent but the team
was changed later. CBI planted and tutored witnesses.”... Raising questions about the CBI officer AGL Kaul, Chitnis said, “Kaul
fed stories and poisoned people. Judge Shyam Lal was also known as Sazaa
Lal and he invented evidence and disregarded the evidence. We did not
get a free trial. I am assuring that both Rajesh and Nupur are innocent
and my only goal now is to get them justice,” said the father-in-law of
Rajesh Talwar."
