Politicians and lawyers will be among
the speakers at a rally in Hobart calling for a change to legal appeal
legislation to allow a convicted killer to have her case heard. Hobart
woman Susan Neill-Fraser is in jail for the 2009 killing of her partner
Bob Chappell, but a community group continues to argue her innocence.
It's offering a $40,000 reward for information leading to her release and will hold a rally on Saturday. Former Tasmanian premier and now shadow attorney-general Lara Giddings, along with Hobart lawyer Greg Barns, will address the rally and a family member will read a message from Neill-Fraser.
