Bulletin: Susan Neill-Fraser: Tasmania; Rally to be held tomorrow (Saturday 20 June) calling for a change to legal appeal legislation to allow the convicted killer to have her case heard. A community group continues to argue her innocence. (One commentator calls this "the worst miscarriage of justice in 40 years" and says the 2010 murder conviction has now been fatally and forensically undermined with the latest report from the Victorian Police Forensic Services Department.)

Politicians and lawyers will be among the speakers at a rally in Hobart calling for a change to legal appeal legislation to allow a convicted killer to have her case heard.  Hobart woman Susan Neill-Fraser is in jail for the 2009 killing of her partner Bob Chappell, but a community group continues to argue her innocence.
It's offering a $40,000 reward for information leading to her release and will hold a rally on Saturday. Former Tasmanian premier and now shadow attorney-general Lara Giddings, along with Hobart lawyer Greg Barns, will address the rally and a family member will read a message from Neill-Fraser.
