"Innocence Project client Jeff Deskovic, who served 16 years before he was exonerated by DNA evidence, will produce and serve as the on air expert for a weekly segment about wrongful convictions that will appear on the Reelz Network’s The Security Brief with Paul Viollis. The segments will appear, starting today, on Fridays.  The segment, called “Wrongfully Convicted: The Deskovic Files,” will feature the stories of men and women who have been wrongly convicted and exonerated.  Deskovic will appear on air to talk about how the system failed in the case and what can be done about it.  The first episode will feature Deskovic’s own story of being wrongly convicted of the murder of one of his classmates.  Deskovic, who was just 16 at the time, was coerced into falsely confessing to the crime.  He was prosecuted despite DNA evidence pointing to another perpetrator."
