"Today is the first day of the second manslaughter trial for a former Richland nanny. Kelli Jacobsen is accused of causing the death of the one year old boy, Ryder Morrison, that she was watching. Her first trial ended in hung jury. Both sides made their opening statements explaining what jurors can expect to hear during the trial. ........Defense
attorney Shane Silverthorn focused his argument on how Jacobsen was not
the only person who had access to Ryder just before his death. "At
least one, two, three, four people had access to Ryder, not just my
client, and I will show you that there's reasonable doubt to believe
that you don't know, and you won't be able to know," says Silverthorn."
